Location research for outdoor painting
We were at MacDonald Beach in Richmond doing a location research for my upcoming Plein Air painting workshop on June 15, 2012.
The weather was not too bad. It was a little windy and having a jacket with some layers of clothes underneath made it comfortable. This year we had a temperature around 15 degrees which is quite unusual.
MacDonald Beach was quiet being a weekday afternoon. We took a lot of photos and found many beautiful corners that will be perfect for a landscape painting.
The predicted weather for our workshop day, June 15th - is temperatures from 12 – 19 degrees with a mix of sun and clouds. This is perfect for acrylic outdoor painting.
There is a slight chance of rain and if this happens we will provide tarps to keep us dry.
Here are some of the views that I enjoy sharing with you. Each one of them could turn into a beautiful landscape painting.
