Date: May 17-18, 2014
Time: 9:30 – 3:30
Have you ever tried to paint mountains and ended up being frustrated in your attempts to create realistic valleys and ridges? Come and learn simple ways to depict what can appear to be complicated! In this workshop, you will learn to create crumpled patterns to paint majestic mountains. You will also learn to transform hidden outlines to rivers and waterfalls as well as developing three dimensional methods to paint rocks and/or mountains. You can even spice up the painting with moist / mist like fogs and clouds, and surprise yourself with the result of an atmospheric landscape painting!
Note: The landscape painting workshop will require a either boar hair brush or horse hair brush which some student may not already have, it will be available for purchase from the instructor.
